My 20+ year methamphetamine addiction got the best of me. I began selling drugs leading to getting indicted by the Federal Government. I was released from Federal prison on September 6, 2016. I didn’t have any hope regarding my future. Decided to take Code Tenderloin - not because I thought it would really help me, but because I wanted to get out of the halfway house. It did help me on so many levels and in so many ways. I became the Programs Administrative Associate and now I am the Director of Programs and Operations running the program and helping people just like me daily.

“In addition to getting my 4 page resume down to one page, creating a 30 second elevator pitch, and practicing interviewing, Code Tenderloin taught me that I belong where I say I belong. I now know that my past shapes me, but it does not define me, unless I let it”
